      <image:title>Design - Forge</image:title>
<image:caption>Forge is a fictional performance car parts brand that supplies carefully curated pre assembled upgrade kits, each tailored to a specific vehicle. These kits come with everything needed for a painless installation process, and are tested so extensively that they are considered to be bulletproof. The brand speaks to a niche market driven by customer loyalty and peer recommendation. The identity embodies durability, as well as the rough aesthetic of the aftermarket performance car culture. Photography reinforces this theme with drained colours and cluttered environments, while capturing the obsessiveness that drives the pursuit of the target’s personal goals. This project included creating the brand, along with business cards, stationery, giveaway promotional posters that feature the use of an augmented reality app, packaging, and the design of a website.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Design - Oner</image:title>
<image:caption>Oner is a fictional app that maximizes a phone’s video capabilities for a niche demographic. The app is tailored specifically for shooting extreme athletes in action. Oner’s intuitive software enables the shooter to capture the best video possible from their phone, negating the need for expensive camera gear that is often out of the average aspiring athlete/videographer’s budget. Every feature of the app works to create the most intuitive experience possible for both the rider and the shooter, as well as assisting with the capturing of the best possible footage. This project involved creating the brand and the app, as well as a one page parallax website to encourage downloads.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Design - Wilson School of Design</image:title>
<image:caption>Kwantlen Polytechnic University was in the process of overhauling their design program created by Chip and Shannon Wilson. KPU sought to create one of the best design programs available - a school that would sculpt some of the city’s best creative talent. Our agency built the brand on the importance of the design process in creating good work. Good design isn’t just found, magically, in the end result. Whether designing an interior space, a piece of clothing, custom packaging or a new product, good designers follow the design process. And that process is messy. It is full of failures and prototypes. This is where good design and excellent designers emerge. We redefined KPU’s design program as a safe place for creatives to explore, test, and iterate on the path to brilliant design. My involvement on the Wilson School of Design included the design and production on several pieces such as the stationery set and promotional banners. I also assisted in the creation of the brand’s colour palette and the brand guidelines, as well as handled production of a large logo suite with over 400 files.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Design - City of Quesnel</image:title>
<image:caption>The City of Quesnel was looking to update their look and feel from a somewhat dated gold rush brand to something more timeless and forward thinking. They wanted to retain the adventurous spirit that built Quesnel, but with a more open and current approach. Our agency built the brand around the realization that the city is ‘nourished by nature, and fuelled by courage.’ Quesnel was originally founded on the spoils of British Columbia’s gold rush, but the abundant natural resources continue to sustain their robust economy. This, coupled with the courageous, hardworking mindset of their residents shaped the contemporary yet natural approach we took with the rebrand. My involvement in the Quesnel rebrand included creating the initial visual direction the brand would be based upon; a modern, progressive feel coupled with natural, organic colours and textures. I was involved with the design and production of many pieces of collateral as well, including brochure templates, promotional banners, and print advertisements.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Design - HSBC Canada Sevens Rugby</image:title>
<image:caption>The HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series is one of the most exciting global sporting events on the market. It features the dynamism of sevens rugby, paired with a spectacle of entertainment and audience engagement that is second to none; fans arrive wearing creative and often outrageous costumes in both an effort to support their team and as an opportunity to be completely uninhibited. Our agency chose to capitalize on the unique display of thousands of people adorning incredible outfits contrasted by the intensity of the players, in both the 2017 and 2018 campaigns. This was manifested by shooting a player in full uniform, with a fan in an outrageous costume mirroring the player’s pose, symbolizing the importance of the audience’s role in the tournament. My involvement in the 2017 and 2018 campaigns was focused on designing and producing promotional pieces across a number of platforms. This included out of home ads such as bus and skytrain wraps, transit floor and wall decals, and transit platform posters, as well as online advertisements and in-stadium collateral such as column wraps and the score clock screen.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Design - Squamish Valley Music Festival</image:title>
<image:caption>SVMF needed to look beyond the draw of headlining acts and create a visually compelling brand that encompassed the entire experience. Our agency took a staged approach to the development of the new brand. First, we developed a creative strategy, centered around the concept of “A Festival Beyond.” This was rolled out into a new creative platform with a low–poly landscape setting the stage for the entire campaign. From awareness and consideration, to event experience, our branded presence spanned social media, web, mobile app, OOH, merchandise and an extensive signage program. My involvement on SVMF was centered around properly executing the tailored yet consistent look of the brand across a variety of media. This included being involved in the design and production of a multitude of collateral, encompassing everything from promotional packages, to posters, to items sold at the event such as shirts and water bottles, to event signage, to stage wraps, to online ads and social posts.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Design - Sicamous</image:title>
<image:caption>The District of Sicamous was looking to redefine themselves as more fresh and fun than their previous brand, ‘The houseboat capital of Canada’. They were looking to not only continue to encourage the summer tourism that sustains their economy, but also draw in more people who wanted to live and invest in a place quieter than the city, but also not stagnant and uninteresting like some smaller towns are. Sicamous is a beautiful part of the Shuswap, a place to get lost in activity. Our agency strove to showcase the town as a fun, exciting place to be, without losing the feel of being able to relax and move at a personal pace. Sicamous has a wide variety of invigorating activities to partake in all year round, as well as a beautiful environment that provides endless adventures for all sorts of people. We redefined Sicamous as a way of life, rather than simply a place to live. Where the energy of nature sparks the energy of the people, no matter where you sit on the energy dial. Where birdwatching recharges some, wakeboarding refuels others. All ultimately are inspired, rejuvenated and enthused. My involvement in the Sicamous rebrand included creating the initial visual direction that the brand would be based upon; the fun and exciting, but also relaxed look and feel of the campaign. I was also involved with the design and production of numerous pieces of collateral, including stationery, newsletter templates, promotional postcards and banners, billboards that now sit at either end of the town, as well as the permanent signage that welcomes you to the town.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Design - Doctors of British Columbia</image:title>
<image:caption>The Doctors of British Columbia is a voluntary association of physicians, residents, and medical students in BC. They look to promote a climate in which their members can provide patients with the highest standard of healthcare possible, while achieving professional satisfaction and fair economic reward. They came to our agency looking to create a print piece for their members that outlines what their goals are, the reasoning behind them, and their path forward. We created this easily transportable, take-home brochure that concisely denotes their goals in an appealing, on brand package.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Design - Speed Skating Canada</image:title>
<image:caption>Speed Skating Canada felt that their previous brand did not properly resonate with the community they represented. They were looking to transform their brand into something that was more recognizable, memorable, and strong. Our agency focussed on creating an identity that celebrated the dedication and drive that is so prevalent in the sport, that also worked in tandem with a more powerful, patriotic style. The logo represents the short and long track the sport owns, while the colour palette and design elements represent not only our country, but the intense competition found in the sport. My involvement in the rebrand included designing the majority of the brand’s collateral as well as a series of templates that would guide the style of Speed Skating Canada’s in house design team.</image:caption>
